Year 3 Children - Sight-word learning

In Year 3, we will be looking at sight-word learning. Sight-word learning is an important skill to be able to read fluently.

Children will work with one of the project team on two different days. On the first day, they will play a game on a computer where they learn some new words and their spellings.

On the second day, they will take part in some activities about vocabulary and reading.

When your child is in Year 4, they will work once more with the project team to see how their reading has developed over a year.

In the task, children help Willow to unlock secret spells!
